Facade [fuh-sahd]: a superficial appearance or illusion of something. I was inspired by the human behavior that makes us want to hide from who we really are, we search outside approval of beauty and happiness only to find we continue to facade ourselves to please others. We may hide within our own skin like a mask or pretend to be someone else yet when you look at yourself in the mirror your inner self reveals through your eyes. Humans are uniquely designed by a set of genes. Why do we alter? And for whom?
